Who controls your data

AMD Tuning Essex Limited (company number 14712734), trading as AmD Automotive, is the data controller. Our registered office is Unit 6 Cliffside Trade Park, Motherwell Way, West Thurrock, Grays, Essex, RM20 3XD. Contact us at [email protected] or 01708 861 827.

What we collect

When you enquire or request an appointment, we collect your name, contact details, vehicle registration and other vehicle details, requested service and appointment preferences, and anything you add to the message. Our hosting provider may also process technical logs, such as IP address, browser information and request time, to operate and secure the website.

Why we use it

  • To answer enquiries, provide quotes and take steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To arrange and provide services and meet our contractual obligations.
  • To keep business, service and tax records where required by law or for our legitimate interests in running and defending our business.
  • To prevent abuse and keep the website secure, based on our legitimate interests.

The form fields marked as required are needed for us to handle your request. If you do not provide them, we may be unable to respond or arrange a service.

Who receives it

We do not sell personal data. We share it only when necessary with service providers that host the website, deliver transactional email (Resend), support our IT, or advise us professionally, and with public authorities where the law requires it. Providers act under appropriate contractual and security obligations.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum. Contact us if you would like details of the safeguard used for your data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become customer work are normally kept for up to 24 months after our last contact. Customer, invoice and service records are normally kept for up to seven years after the relevant transaction. We may keep records longer where a legal claim or obligation requires it.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal data, or object to our use of it. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Please contact us first if you can, so we have an opportunity to help. We do not use your form data for automated decisions or profiling.

Cookies and changes

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential platform features may store information needed to deliver the site securely. We will update this notice before introducing optional tracking and will publish material changes on this page.
