About us
These terms apply to the website and services of AMD Tuning Essex Limited (company number 14712734), trading as AmD Automotive. Our registered office is Unit 6 Cliffside Trade Park, Motherwell Way, West Thurrock, Grays, Essex, RM20 3XD.
Appointment requests
Submitting an online form requests an appointment; it does not create a confirmed booking. We will confirm availability by phone or email. Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Any cancellation charge will only apply if it was clearly disclosed and agreed before the booking was confirmed.
Quotes, work and payment
Website descriptions are general and are not fixed quotes. We will explain the proposed work and price before starting. We will seek your approval before carrying out material additional work unless urgent work is reasonably necessary to prevent immediate danger and we cannot reach you. Payment terms and accepted methods will be confirmed with the quote or invoice.
Parts, workmanship and warranties
Any commercial warranty and its duration will be stated on the quote, invoice or warranty document. Commercial warranties do not affect your statutory rights, including rights that services be performed with reasonable care and skill and that supplied goods be of satisfactory quality.
Your vehicle and collection
Please tell us about relevant faults, modifications or security systems and remove personal valuables. We will take reasonable care of vehicles in our possession. We will agree collection arrangements when work is complete. Any storage charge must be reasonable and disclosed before it begins to accrue, except where the law provides otherwise.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, neither party is responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the service was agreed. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults or ordinary wear unrelated to our work.
